What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for a highly motivated, communicative individual to work for one of our large logistics companies. On a day-to-day basis, this person will:
- Resolve open tasks through internal and external communication
- Inform appropriate parties about issues so they can be addressed properly and quickly
- Data entry for customer freight bills
- Maintain customer satisfaction and quality service
- Understand necessary internal technologies
- Internal departmental communication to address order problems
- Secure necessary documentation from transportation providers for customer billing
- Improve current processes
Must Haves:
- 1 year experience in a billing specialist role
- Experience in data entry, audit, AP/AR, load planning, transportation, or logistics
Plusses:
- Associate's degree in business
- Associate's degree in transportation or logistics
- Microsoft Office experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Verbal and written communication
