An Insight Global client is hiring an Operating Building Engineer for a 6-7 month contract. This person manages work orders for HVAC with a heavy focus on troubleshooting chiller and boiler systems, while performing preventative maintenance tasks in a warehouse / lab facility environment. They troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, conduct inspections, and respond to tenant service requests. They complete accurate record-keeping and compliance with safety regulations are essential, while collaborating with team members to improve building operations and efficiency. This role will be a shift of 4pm to midnight, with the potential to change by a few hours at a time. Overtime is possible and occasional on call work is potentially required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5-8 years' experience in HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance
- Heavy expertise in boilers and chillers
- Universal EPA
- CMMS Experience (preferably Corrigo)
