What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse position at Insight Global?
Thank you so much for your interest! This is a contract position with 13 week increments and it will extend; we have multiple candidates working for this client who have been there for 1-2yrs already. We are open to either local or travel resources.
Position: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Openings: 1
Visa Needed: USC/GC
Location: Butler PA 16001
Duration: 13 week extensions (extend as long as doing good job - have had ppl there 2yrs now)
- Travel Package: approx $2900-3200
- Local Pay: approx $55-70/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Interviews: Monday-Friday, any time – one and done phone call!
Schedule: M-F, 7-5:30pm, 4x10s – on call (8-11 calls per 4-week period, one weekend/month included)
RN Must Haves:
- PA RN License & ACLS
- At least 2 years of experience in a cath lab. setting
Day to day:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to direct and indirect patient care within the Cath Lab. Provides nursing care to patients undergoing Cath/EP procedures. Provides assistance to the Electrophysiologist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders. Operates EP recording/stimulating and other related EP equipment. Recording and measuring of intra cardiac electro-grams. Under direction of EP physician sets up imaging equipment. Assists the electrophysiologist with the performance of said procedures along with device implant procedures such as pacemakers, ICDs, and LAAO procedures. *will be scrubbing*

- Other duties: medtronic cryoablation equipment, catheters, left side ablations, administer/monitor conscious sedation (doctor deciding) for RN, Implants
- The person will need to have experience with ablations, implants, and implants of the Watchman device
- Able to set up all equipment used in an EP lab
- Most equipment is Abbott & Philips Volcano that is used
Salary : $55 - $75
