Job Description:
A Civil Structural Architectural Inspector is required to support day-to-day activities on a major capital project. The inspector will oversee testing activities related to concrete, structure, and architectural aspects, including soil testing, concrete testing, compaction testing, and moisture testing.
The project involves modernizing a compressor with (4) gas-driven engines and a substation to increase natural gas pressure in transmission lines. It requires 350,000 yards of soil and additional areas for sieve testing, compaction testing, moisture testing, and pile installation.
The inspector will report to the Quality Management Team Lead and work closely with the Construction team, providing audits and reports for both the owner's side and contractors.
This position demands expertise in quality control, particularly in civil, structural, and architectural fields. Relevant experience includes reviewing ITPs, test plans, and providing oversight on construction projects for owners and contractors.
