An employer in the Baltimore, MD area is searching for a Night Shift Pharmacist to support a major medical center. This is a 7 on 7 off position with rotating weekends., standard hours are 10 pm - 8 am. This person will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to assigned patients and will be working side-by-side with just one Pharmacy Technician. They will also be responsible for evaluating and interpreting physician orders and dispensing medication and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established operational procedures, professional standards or practice as well as state and district and Federal laws. This person must hold active Board of Pharmacy Certification and State of Maryland Pharmacist Licensure.
SHIFT : 7 on / 7off, rotating weekends, 10PM-8AM
NOTE ON HOURS :
Because of the 7 on 7 off schedule, they work 7 straight days of 10 pm – 8 am. They work 70 hours per pay period total but get paid for 72 as they are a 0.9 FTE (36 hours).
Requirements :
- PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- At minimum 2 years of experience working as a pharmacist in an inpatient, hospital, environment
- Holds Active Board of Pharmacy Certification
- Holds Active State of Maryland Pharmacist Licensure
