Minimum Requirements:

Description:
Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a Sr. Cloud Engineer to spearhead our organization's cloud journey, encompassing tasks such as hosting applications in the cloud, integrating SaaS platforms with cloud infrastructure, and transitioning our data center operations to the cloud environment. This employee will be responsible for the design, operation, security, and day to day maintenance of the public and private cloud environments including networking, compute, storage, and backup. Once the migration is complete, this person will spend time diagnosing and troubleshooting both common and unusual system problems working closely with all members of IT and vendor support. Performing preventive maintenance on assigned systems, along with monitoring performance, improving, and modifying monitoring systems, and responding proactivity to minimize disruption to services. The systems are monitored 24/7. Develops and maintains server, backup and system diagrams and ensures all necessary documentation remains current. This role will have mentorship elements with the potential of room for growth as a leader.
- Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot servers, backup and disaster recovery systems
- Support backup and disaster recovery solutions and associated infrastructure.
- Install, administer, support, and maintain a variety of systems, servers, hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems.
- Accountable for investigation, implementation and support of various technical systems and niche platforms
- Manage and support the information systems security solutions, policies and directives and ensure assigned systems remain current and up to date with security updates.
- Assist other IS staff with resolution of technical and process issues.
- Assist with network system support and troubleshooting
