This Department of Defense University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) is sponsored by the USC Army and Navy. They conduct research and development in areas such as artificial intelligence, computer graphics, geospatial sciences, human performance, gaming, and do a lot of work supporting veterans across the country.
Day to Day
A DOD affiliated research center for a large university customer is looking to bring on cloud engineer. This person will be primarily responsible for helping with their Azure / GCC high environment and any updates or changes that need to be done. This team needs to make sure they are complying with and reaching all standards to work with Summit 7, their MSSP on the DOD side as well as their commercial vendor to comply with CMC level 1 requirements.
we are looking to pay anywhere between 49-52 an hour depending on experience and seniority.

Experience with AWS and GCP
Experience with government compliance DFARS 252.204-7012 / CMMC and NIST 800-171

Someone with 3-4 years of experience as a cloud engineer and has strong knowledge of Azure security, services, and architecture ( full stack understanding of Azure)
Someone who has really in depth experience with MS Azure GovCloud and is somewhat of a subject matter expert
Someone who has strong experience working in a govcloud environment
Someone who has strong government knowledge
