Insight Global is seeking a Cloud / DevOps Engineer to join a large defense contractor for a DoD program at the Naval Base in Point Mugu, CA. The ideal candidate is comfortable working onsite and operating on a 9 / 80 work schedule. This engineer will ideally have 3 years of experience working with Cloud Infrastructure and Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD). The typical annual salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $140,000.00.
Responsibilities include :
- Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers
- Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems
- Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups
- Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access
- Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses
- May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
- Creating and setting up automated Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines Configure aircraft deployment pipeline and produce release charts
The ideal candidate will have a Top Secret Clearance and will have a range of 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described below :
