JOB DESCRIPTION
Our legal team is looking to hire an experienced commercial real estate paralegal with transactional experience. As a paralegal, you will assist with all phases of the deal cycle; this includes projects financed with low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC), tax-exempt bonds, HUD loans, and other state and local subsidies. You will also closely assist with entity formation, qualifications, entity compliance and maintenance, document preparation and management, title and survey, due diligence, and the deal-closing process. This position reports to the Senior Paralegal and collaborates closely with the in-house paralegal team, as well as the General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, and outside counsel.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in a corporate real estate environment required
-Experience as a commercial real estate or affordable housing paralegal with finance experience
-Very proactive, deadline driven, extremely responsive and proactive
-Understands a corporate environment
-Good attitude/soft skills/team is close knit
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
