Insight Global is seeking a Senior Product Compliance Engineer to join a leading sports lighting client in a global market. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all products meet compliance standards.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the design, compliance, and product teams to ensure adherence to both domestic and international regulations. Key responsibilities include developing and executing compliance programs, reviewing and completing regulatory documentation, and ensuring that products comply with requirements set by regulatory bodies and standards organizations worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute compliance programs
- Review and complete regulatory documentation
- Ensure product compliance with domestic and international regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering or a relevant technical field
- 5 years of experience in product compliance
- 5 years of experience working with domestic and international regulatory agencies
- Experience with following standards: RoHS, WEEE, REACH, and mercury
- Experience testing EMC / EMI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working with lighting products
- Familiarity with lighting standards: UL 1598, UL 1750, and UL 61010
