Position: CAD Technician

Duration: 6 month Contract-to-Hire
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Pay Rate: $20-$25/hr
Must Haves:
- 0 -3 years of experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD designing
- Experience doing electrical designs
- Associates degree preferred or applicable design experience
Plusses:
- Experience with MicroStation and/or worked with electric utility type drawings a plus.
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a CAD Technician to join our clients' engineering team in downtown Ann Arbor, MI. This company is looking to invest in and grow this person, and direct hire offer at 6 month mark as long as successful within role. The CAD Technician in this position will be part of the Power Delivery group primarily generating and modifying design drawings for high power substations. Including but not limited to wiring, schematics, physical arrangements, structural and civil site drawings. Other job responsibilities include:
- Working in multiple design software, including AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Able to display attention to detail and good organization skills.
- Work closely under the direction of professional engineers and staff.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team setting.
Salary : $20 - $25
