Insight Global is seeking a Construction Contracts Invoice Specialist to support one of our largest AEC clients in the Baltimore, MD area. This will be a hybrid role (2-3 days in Baltimore Program Office, 2-3 days remote) and training is provided. The Invoice Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating approvals for invoices related to construction contracts. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of construction contracts and billing procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms.
- Ensure all billed items are supported by appropriate documentation and approvals.
- Identify discrepancies and work with project managers and contractors to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all reviewed invoices and related documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management review.
- Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure timely processing of payments.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to construction invoicing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with invoice review within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, billing procedures, and compliance requirements.
Salary: $78,000-$83,000 (flexible based on experience)
Primary Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
Schedule: 2-3 days onsite per week
Hiring Method: 12 month-long contract with a high likely hood of extension and/or potential permanent hire
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
