Insight Global is looking for a Construction Inspector to join our team fully on-site in Pensacola, FL! The Construction Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting a diverse range of civil construction projects, including roadway, utility, site development, and other related ventures.
- Reviewing and interpreting plans and specifications with contractors
- Ensure the quality and adherence to design specifications throughout the construction process
- Inspect stormwater drainage, sewer installations, grades, materials, and surfacing applications for compliance with established requirements.
Salary: $25 - $30/hour
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Civil construction knowledge and experience
- Experience in public project engineering such as street or sewer construction
- Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, practices, and techniques used in construction
- Ability to read and interpret routine engineering designs and specifications
- Skilled in the application of proper inspection and investigation methods and techniques
- Ability to pass a drug and background check
