Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Systems Administrator with an experienced background in Control-M. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a Fortune 500 company in the Health Care and Pharmacy industry. This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience administrating in the Control-M tool. The ideal candidate for this role not only has extensive experience administrating Control-M but also help to lead in the decision making as it related to the engineering and controls of the tool.
Responsibilities and core functions:
- - Perform Control-M administrative tasks and Job scheduling tasks.
- - Maintain multiple, large Control-M environments.
- - Design scheduling solutions (job definitions, calendars, variables, etc.) in Control-M Distributed and mainframe for application and business teams.
- - Install certs and agents and monitor license usage.
- - Periodically upgrade Control-M servers and agents
- - Remediate vulnerabilities on Control-M agents and servers.
- - Troubleshoot network issues for server-to-agent and agent-to-server issues for Unix/Windows
- - Troubleshooting and resolution of agent issues on UNIX and Windows (space, compatibility, etc.)
- - Firewall rule validation and trouble shooting.
- - Manage SAP modules and connection profiles.
- - Build reports in reporting module to satisfy audit, administrative, and other requirements
- - Craft scheduling solutions for automation, cloud, and self-service
- - Respond to reports of impact on production schedules due to upcoming system changes, scheduled maintenance, and holiday closures
- - Lead information gathering for audit inquiries related to scheduling
- - Participate in on-call
- - Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of production workflow issues
- - Provide Second level support for production batch problem resolution
- - Work schedule: Eastern time zone business hours
Compensation: $40/hr to $55/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
Salary : $40 - $55
