What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Accounting Manager position at Insight Global?
Our Accounting Manager leads the daily accounting function and preparation of the consolidated monthly financial reports for the Company. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager that can improve our accounting processes and make our monthly financial reporting timelier and more accurate. This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller.
Responsible for the month end and year end closing processes.
Develop and execute a plan to get monthly closing back to 5 business days.
Ensure all accounts are reconciled on a weekly or monthly basis, as necessary
Oversee and supervise accounts receivable / invoicing, accounts payable, hourly payroll, inventory, capital expenditures / CIP and general accounting.
Prepare reports for weekly borrowing base for asset-based credit facility.
Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements
Review all accounting procedures and process, and develop and execute a plan to update and improve the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly financial reporting.
Assist with the preparation of annual financial plan and forecast updates, and 13-week cash flow forecast.
Assist with daily banking and cash management.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors Degree
10 years of overall accounting experience in public accounting and industry with manufacturing companies that have >
100 million in annual sales
2 years at least as an accounting manager or equivalent role
Deep experience with standard cost accounting
