What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Analyst position at Insight Global?
The Credit Analyst supports the firm and Credit & Collections Manager by conducting risk assessments, credit evaluations for new client engagements, and monitoring performance related to collections.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in designing policies that require credit analysis for new matters to minimize risk.
- Partner with the Accounting, Client Engagement, and Collections teams to investigate credit exposure and evaluate credit for new / ongoing client matters.
- Research and assess the creditworthiness of clients.
- Approve the opening of new matters daily, identifying those requiring further analysis.
- Collaborate with Attorneys, Department chairs, General Counsel, and Credit / Collections manager on risk assessment and evaluation of active client matters.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of receivables and work-in-progress (WIP) relative to established budgets.
- Develop and / or review data models for risk analysis and provide suggestions and feedback to improve processes based on analysis
