Responsibilities
As a GCP Data Engineer on our team at Insight Global, you will be responsible for the following:
* Designing, developing, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and troubleshooting data components that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, internal user applications, and business intelligence platforms.
* Collaborating with our clients to ensure their data architecture meets their evolving needs.
* Developing and deploying pipelines using CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Jenkins builds.
* Ensuring data quality and test automation best practices are followed throughout the development process.
* Working closely with our clients to identify areas for improvement in their data infrastructure and implementing solutions to address these gaps.
Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working with data mapping and modeling concepts, as well as a strong understanding of GCP Data products, including BigQuery, Dataflows, Dataproc, Pubsub, and ETL jobs.
