Level II Desktop Technician
A large medical group is seeking a Level II Technician to join their Northern Maryland clinics. This person's day to day will be assisting the physician and clinics across the Northern Maryland area including Townson, Columbia, Fredrick, majority in Catonsville. This person's day to day will include handling the help desk tickets that come through to each center, covering anything from Active Directory password resets, Microsoft application installations, imaging computers from clinics that were part of acquisitions, and more. Additionally, this person will need an understanding of physical networking including firewalls, switches, and routers. The position is from 8-5, M-F, with weekend work on a rare occasion (if they were to absorb a clinic, imagine laptops, comes with compensation).
- Can pass a drug test and background check to work in a healthcare setting
- Bachelors, associates degree preferred not required
- At least 3-6 years' experience supporting Level II desktop tickets
- Able to work with nurses, doctors, and c-level executives
- Networking understanding including firewalls, switches, and routers
