About the Job
This role involves working independently in mammography within a multidisciplinary team. As a Mammography Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating GE Essential 2D and 3D equipment for routine annual mammography exams. You will use EPIC and Spectra for documentation and imaging.
Patient scheduling will occur every 15 minutes, and there will be no onsite provider, so scans will not be read on the same day. Additional duties include managing personal schedules to ensure efficient patient flow, verifying orders/scripts, and following up on necessary diagnostic workups.
New employees will undergo an extensive training period to meet MQSA compliance and role-specific requirements. This full-time position offers flexible hours, ideally Monday to Friday from 7 or 7:30 AM to 3 or 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- NJ ARRT Certification
- Mammography Certification - ARRT (M)
- Digital Mammography Certification & Tomosynthesis (Tomo) Certification
