Insight Global is seeking a Radar Signal Processing Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative client in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a full time, permanent position working a hybrid schedule with every other Friday off.
In this role you will have the opportunity to develop and implement advanced algorithms for radar systems contributing to the success of critical commercial defense projects.
Responsibilities:
- Attend to technical challenges covering the entire transmit and receive chain, radar system modeling, ground moving target identification, electronic warfare, maritime surveillance, image processing, algorithm development for advanced Radar image products and exploitation
- Design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
- Design, implementation and testing of algorithms for detection, discrimination and tracking systems
- Modeling and simulation of system designs to demonstrate performance metrics
- Develop unique solutions and efficient implementations of signal processing algorithms for challenging mission applications
- Use common industry signal processing tools such as IDL, MATLAB, Python or C to analyze data and generate algorithms
- Analyze system level signal propagation, RF system performance, requirements development and review
- Collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, program management, and senior leadership
Qualifications:
- BS in mathematics, physics, engineering, or other related technical field
- At least 2 years of experience in radar signal processing, probability and statistics, and algorithm development.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C , Python.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.
Plusses/Nice to Haves:
- Experience with FMCW and automotive radar signal processing chains
- Experience with MIMO arrays and subspace AoA estimation techniques
- Experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) signal processing algorithms such as backprojection, polar formatting, range migration algorithm, etc.
- Proficiency with AESA/PESA system architectures.
Compensation:
$90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year annual salary.
