What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Finance position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking a Director of Finance for one of our Plaintiff Law Firm clients based in New Jersey. We are looking for someone who comes from a legal background and has strong technical aspects of accounting and finance. This role will be hybrid remote, starting predominantly onsite, until ramped up and then will transition to working three days onsite, two days remote.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the bigger, strategic initiatives of the accounting and finance department, living in reports and charts in order to break them down and provide information for presentations to use for strategic and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with implementing processes and programs from the ground up and understand each point of that process and being able to develop it. The accounting and finance department is a team of 12, and in this role, you will have two direct reports and ten indirect reports. Expectations are that you have very good knowledge of all aspects of accounting and finance related to firm activity.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 15 years of experience in accounting or finance related roles
- 4 years of experience as a director
- Law Firm experience
- Experience implementing processes/programs from the ground up
- Innovative and strategic thinker
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with mergers or acquisitions
- Experience on plaintiff side law
Compensation:
$200k to $225k per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
