Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiology with current ARRT registration OR Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State.
- ACLS certification within three months of employment date.
- Three years of experience to include quality assurance and progressive management experience. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within six months of employment date.
- Analytical skills. Independent judgment as well as the ability to work with a team. Proficiency in all areas of the laboratory.
- AVP- Clinical Support.
Plusses:
- Master’s degree.
- RTCV/RCIS/RCES certifications.
- Past experience as a Cardiac Cath or Interventional Radiology Director.
- Project management experience.
Job Summary:
- Incorporates use of new technologies and methods to improve clinical outcomes, productivity and effectiveness.
- Coordinates interactions with other CVMC departments, physician practices, health care facilities and agencies as needed.
- Works with Data Analytics Department to analyze market share, identifying and evaluating possible new sources of patients.
- Establishes and maintains a program that focuses on continuously assessing and improving the performance of care and services.
- Review annually, assesses performance and ascertains success of performance improvement activities and/or facilitates improvements as needed.
- Communicates all relevant information effectively and consistently to staff members, physicians, managers, and others through regularly scheduled meetings or other appropriate mechanisms.
- Serves as liaison between Administration, staff, and physicians, remaining available and accessible.
- Develops, implements, and enforces protocols and procedures that guide and support the provision of quality services across the continuum of care; reviews/revises every three years or as needed.
- Provides leadership, direction, resources, support, and oversight of the program in accordance with objectives and standards established by the hospital (to include safety and infection control). Abides by State and Federal laws/regulations to include CAP and Joint Commission standards.
- Manages the service line’s financial performance including preparation, administration, and monitoring of budgets, planning for future capital purchases, developing pro forma for new services, monitoring of accurate coding and charging for services, (validates and verifies codes and charges).
- Establishes and monitors annual goals for the service line.
- Coordinates and integrates patient care to ensure prompt, efficient quality services.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
