Insight Global is seeking an EHS Specialist III to support a Fortune 500 Medical Device client in the Minneapolis area. The individual in this role will be tasked with creating, executing, and overseeing policies and procedures to ensure the companys adherence to all relevant Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations. This onsite position will spearhead and support ongoing EHS improvement projects, utilizing the input and collaboration of EHS team members, internal stakeholders, and external resources at the Arden Hills, MN location. This role is looking to pay around 47.50 / hr.

Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and / or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
Working experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or electronics industries.
Working experience in controlled environment / clean manufacturing / quality management system-controlled setting.
Ergonomic risk reduction experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or office setting.
DOT Hazardous Materials General Awareness (Title 49 CFR, Part 172, Subpart H) certificate
Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certificate
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management (Title 40 CFR, Part 265) certificate
Emergency response and / or incident command experience
Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Safety Management, Occupational Health, or related degree.
4 years experience related to EHS / safety focus.
Working experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
