Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Alcoa Tennessee for our clients manufacturing plant. This person will provide engineering support to maintenance and operations. They will support safety, restoring product flow, providing technical solutions to recurring design and process problems, analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions and system improvements to address those opportunities. This person will also develop, manage, and implement capital projects, major repairs and maintenance projects and provide some process engineering support.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of working experience working in the electrical engineering field
- 3 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives & motors and measuring devices
- Proficiency with Rockwell programming software
Nice-To-Haves:
- Experience in high voltage electrical equipment and component engineering, design and application specification, maintenance and failure analysis.
- Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Experience designing, installing, troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical power and control systems and equipment, including transformers, switchgear, transmission lines, sub-stations, breakers and relays.
- Working knowledge of electrical engineering, industry safety standards and related codes and specifications.
- Strong electrical engineering, maintenance and reliability background.
- Understanding of world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, JIT, SPC, TQM, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and with cross functional teams.
Compensation: $120,000
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
