Job Description
An employer is looking for a Electronics Engineer to support multiple projects for a DoD customer. To include : fabrication / assembly / inspection of prototype and production level military cables, harnesses, assemblies / sub-assemblies (IPC / WHMA-A-620), PCB soldering (IPC J-STD), Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) fabrication / assembly, inspection / verification, and testing.
Candidate will provide or assist in providing technical solutions to engineering problems.
Candidate must have knowledge of military-level drawings and schematics and an understanding of IPC practices
Other duties will include research, design, development, modification, troubleshooting, and evaluation of a variety of electronic equipment, printed circuit boards, and systems using electronic principles, theories, and concepts.
Candidate must also have a basic knowledge of electronic bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multi-meters as well as a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Update and enhance existing systems with new technology
Write reports and record data on testing techniques, laboratory equipment, and specifications to assist engineers.
