Job Description
An employer in the Huntsville area is looking to hire a Splunk Developer to support the US against cyber threats. This person will help shape law enforcement by leading a Splunk engineering effort of designing and developing these systems and databases.
Required Skills & Experience
- Top Secret clearance - Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in IT, or Master's degree and 6 years of experience in IT - Experience in SPL (Splunk Processing Language) - Working knowledge of Splunk dashboards, including creating dashboards and application monitoring - Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging - Experience engaging with client stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Splunk Software IT Service Intelligence - Experience with development of Splunk dashboards - Experience with Javascript - Experience with JIRA or Git - Experience with XML, CSS or HTML
Compensation:
$130k/yr to $150k/yr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
