We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Buyer. This high clerical role involves managing the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process with multiple suppliers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, be self-motivated, and proficient in Excel.
Responsibilities :
- Send RFQs to multiple suppliers using GM’s tools to identify suppliers and write RFQs.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding any defaults and packaging quantity requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for purchasing parts.
- Take initiative and work independently without waiting for direction from team members or supervisors.
