What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-Level Sales: Recruiter/Account Manager position at Insight Global?
Hiring for Summer and Fall 2025 start dates!
This isn’t a place to have “just” a job. This is the place to build a lifelong career; one that you’re proud of; one that grows you personally, professionally, and financially – all while making a difference in the lives of others. At Insight Global, we only promote from within, so everyone begins in the same place. You start as a Recruiter to learn the business from the ground up and work towards promotion in one of two sales paths: Account Management or Professional Recruiting.
New to staffing? That’s ok, we were too. From day one you’ll be immersed into The IG Way, a training program built to not only teach how we operate, but also how to accelerate your career. As an entry-level Recruiter, you’ll be supported by a team of mentors to show you the ropes and give guidance every step of the way. We’ll partner with you to map out a journey based on your unique potential and passion. A career without limits begins with you.
RECRUITER Entry-Level
The purpose of the Recruiter role is to build the foundation for a successful career at Insight Global, all while helping people find jobs. You’re learning how to review resumes, conduct interviews, prepare candidates to meet hiring managers and then sell their unique talent. The job is not easy. It requires charisma, drive, and tons of grit, but the reward is unlike any other. While the average Recruiter is in this role for less than a year, this time is instrumental in laying the groundwork for a long, prosperous career.
ACCOUNT MANAGER Client-Facing Sales
In sales we believe that the keys to establishing long-lasting business partnerships are trust and added value. Our Account Managers work directly with hiring managers of Fortune 1,000 companies. They make an initial connection through networking and cold calls, but ultimately become valuable business consultants advising clients on hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and talent management best practices. As job openings come in from clients, Account Managers work hand-in-hand with our Recruiting team to present highly-qualified candidates, market data, and solutions for any given project. To be successful in the Account Manager role, one must be a go-getter, love the challenge of the sale, and be willing to adapt to the speed of the game.
PROFESSIONAL RECRUITER Consultant-Facing Sales
When you think Professional Recruiting, think next-level Recruiting. Professional Recruiters are experts in their craft, focused on job seekers and our consultants. Their job is to identify top talent, then work to pair those candidates with the perfect job. They get to know the experiences and career aspirations of each job seeker to match clients to consultants. Once the placement is made, our Professional Recruiters continue to work closely with each consultant guaranteeing a world-class experience and offering continued support throughout their careers. Our Professional Recruiters accounted for over 80% of our job placements last year.
WHO WE ARE

Our employees know that as a staffing firm, we’re not just filling a business need for our clients, but instead changing the lives of the 60,000 people we put to work every year. Grow in your career while helping others find careers of their own. It begins with you.
