DAY TO DAY:
As an Environmental Scientist at Insight Global's client, your day will involve a mix of fieldwork and office tasks. You'll conduct bi-annual facility inspections, detention basin and stormwater BMP inspections, and perform dry and wet weather outfall and surface water sampling. Requires little travel from April-October, typically 75% in office and 25% out in field. You'll also engage in dye testing and develop public education programs. Additionally, you'll assist in Good Housekeeping/Pollution Prevention training for municipal staff, develop and submit progress reports and permit application renewals, and perform wellhead protection program grant application and administration services. Your role will also include assisting with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment projects, conducting soil erosion and sedimentation control inspections, and coordinating with clients. Active participation in civic and professional activities will also be part of your routine.
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
