JOB DESCRIPTION:
Insight Global is hiring an experienced Equities Analyst specializing in Industrials to join our trading team in London. This role involves conducting analysis to support senior traders and providing valuable insights to guide trading decisions. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a similar trading-related role, with a strong understanding of industrial markets, modeling, and valuation techniques.
Key Responsibilities: -Perform fundamental analysis of companies within the industrial sector, including financial statement analysis, earnings forecasts, and valuation modeling.
-Identify investment opportunities by examining macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and company-specific catalysts.
-Offer real-time trading insights to senior traders, including market-moving news, earnings reports, and key sector developments.
-Maintain detailed financial models and track company performance to evaluate potential trade ideas.
-Monitor and interpret economic, regulatory, and geopolitical events that could impact industrial equities.
-Engage with company management teams, sell-side analysts, and industry experts to enhance research insights.
-Collaborate closely with the trading team to optimize trade execution based on fundamental and market-driven factors. Contribute to the development of investment theses and present research findings to senior stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-5 years of experience in equities research, buy-side/sell-side analysis, or a trading desk role focused on the industrial sector.
-Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and fundamental analysis.
-Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights.
-Experience working in a fast-paced trading environment, with the ability to react quickly to market-moving events. Familiarity with trading strategies, market structure, and execution dynamics.
-Proficiency Excel (advanced), Python or VBA (a plus).
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas concisely to traders and senior stakeholders. -Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
