About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our team in Chesterfield VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization, staffing, and operation activities for community engagement special events and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and promotion of community engagement special events and experiences.
- Manage the organization, staffing, and operation activities.
- Oversee event budgeting, logistics, and timelines.
- Liaise with community partners, sponsors, businesses, event planners, and resident organizations to foster positive relationships and successful event planning.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.
- 3 years of event planning and management work experience for large-scale events.
- Prior management or supervisory work experience.
- Parks and Recreation experience.
