What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Engineer position at Insight Global?
Day to Day :
- Providing Technical Support to customers.
- Travel to customer's location to repair or modify Komatsu Stamping Press Equipment
- Responsible for improving Service sales and parts sales through Customer Contact.
- Supervise the repair using sub-contractors and / or Customers maintenance people.
- Preform PM and Inspections.
- Calculate and prepare accurate quotations for Service to Customers. This includes contacting Sub-Contractors and preparing their estimate into our quote for service.
- Present quotation to the customers with explanation.
- Prepare and present final reports to customers including Inspection reports.
- Provide Warranty Service and Support
- Contact Customers on a regular basis for Customer relationships. Promote Service and Parts sales.
- Provide Technical phone support. Supply the Customer with viable Product information to repair their equipment.
