Must Haves:
- 3 years of experience in a PC Technician/Field Tech role
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems & IT Components
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
- Experience w/ remote PC troubleshooting
- LAN/WAN network troubleshooting
- Printer support experience
- Understanding of internet security and data privacy principles
- Willingness to travel (50%) – there will be mileage/expense reimbursement

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a traveling Field Technician to join a managed service program for a client in the Financial Services industry. This person will be working mostly remotely and will be responsible for supporting PC/Hardware issues for all branch locations in the Northern California/ Concord area. The Technician will handle the majority of hardware support/troubleshooting remotely but there will be times where they need to visit the branch locations in person. The tech will be reimbursed for travel (mileage, lodging, etc.). All branch locations they support will be within a two-hour drive.
Common issues will include PC/Desktop support, network setup and troubleshooting and printer support/troubleshooting. There will be instances where they will provide support virtually and potential candidates must be familiar with troubleshooting issues both in person and virtually. This person will be assigned a branch location closest to their place of residence to report to, but will be handling as much support remotely as possible.
This is a short term 3-month contract with a bonus upon completion of the contract. The pay rate is $28-$30/ hour.
