What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for Field Technician for a large Telecommunication and Renewables client. The ideal candidate will have an interest in the telecommunications or utilities industry and want to work collecting field data. On a daily basis, this person will be collecting observable data on the overall telecommunication infrastructure, such as telephone poles, address information, and anything else that is visually identifiable. This position is a 4-day 10-hour work day. This company only promotes from within, so this contract-to-hire opportunity is great for those looking for career growth!
MUST HAVES:
1. Successful completion of HS diploma or GED
2. Valid driver's license
3. An interest in the telecom industry and comfortable working in the field
Compensation:
$20/hr to $22/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
