Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Finance Manager for a yearlong contract, with potential hybrid onsite requirements. The role involves supporting comprehensive financial analysis and planning within a large enterprise. This individual must be adaptable and capable of quickly pivoting between various tasks. This individual will be the most tenured individual reviewing daily work of the team. Daily responsibilities include preparing monthly financial comparisons, developing budgets and forecasts, undertaking ad hoc financial projects, reviewing contracts for financial implications, assisting with month-end close processes, preparing journal entries, supporting account reconciliations, and managing SOX controls. Proficiency with accounting systems such as Maximo and Oracle e-Business Suite is essential. The role also involves extensive contract review to assess financial statement implications. Successful candidates will be self-starters, able to work independently, and unafraid to seek assistance when needed. This role will not include people management, but it will require reviewing the work of additional team members, so this role is the most experienced on the team.
