An employer is looking for a Financial Analyst / Accountant to join their team out of midtown Manhattan onsite 4x per week. This person will join the newly created "brainchild" of two well established private equity firms this new company will be focused on the fixed annuity space of life insurance. The Financial Analyst will be the sole report into the Controller and will help the team implement financial and accounting systems and processes as they go-live in Q1 of 2025. He / she will collaborate with Operations and Treasury teams to ensure these processes and systems are aligned to support financial goals and help make data-driven decisions to support continued growth. Once the systems have been tested and implemented, the role will focus more on continued optimization and support of financial and accounting processes. Compensation for this role is 120K-140k per year annually . Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of experience in finance or accounting or insurance
- CPA required
- 2 years in financial services or insurance industry
- 2 years of experience auditing statutory financial statements
- Comfortability in a fast-paced start-up environment
