What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Insight Global?
A startup company under one of the larges logistics organizations in the world is seeking a Finance specialist for a hybrid, 6month contract opportunity out of Hebron, KY. This individual will be responsible for all finance tasks and functions including monthly closing activities, controlling operating revenues and expenses, and oversight of billing, payroll and ledger transactions. Responsibilities include:
Customer billing, implementing financial transitions into correct systems
Oversee or perform inventory and cost accounting analyses
Ensure accurate customer billing
Analyze and summarize financial data in order to offer insight to management
Prepare monthly high quality reports for management and ownership
Monitor invoice payment and initiate collection processes as required
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business related field
5-7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling
Knowledge of reporting systems: SAP, CREST, Cognos, Express TM1
Advanced level Excel experience - ability to break down data and present to stakeholders P
roven ability to use critical thinking to support business goals
Salary : $20 - $30
