What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flight Software Developer position at Insight Global?
A client of Insight Global is seeking entry-level software engineers to join their team in the Houston, TX area. This person will be responsible for developing software for spacecraft simulations through custom development and integration tools and environment simulations. This role will support human spaceflight, human exploration, and deep space programs. This person will be very hands-on in developing, integrating, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience as a software engineer
Bachelors degree in computer science or software engineering
C, C , and Python knowledge
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Software development in a Linux Environment
Avionics integration or environment simulation development
Experience using infrastructure tools for source control, unit testing, issue tracking, and continuous integration
NASA Core flight software (cFS) experience
RTEMS / RTOS experience
