Foreman

Insight Global is looking for a Lead Foreman to join a nationally recognized full-service utility contracting company. This opportunity sits onsite 4 days a week in Cheyenne, WY and is 6 months temp-to-hire. As a cable technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of 14 cable technicians. The responsibilities of this position include unloading trucks, climbing in and out of vaults, moving generators, and pulling cable from vault to vault if outside. If inside, this candidate would be utilizing a medium sized ladder to leapfrog and pull cables through. The ideal candidate will come from a cabling/ wiring background, be comfortable working with their hands, and leading a team.

This role is fully onsite 4 days a week (10 hour shifts), offers overtime, and compensates $25-28/hr depending on years of experience and skillset.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years of leadership experience working within a datacenter structure *
• Experience working with cables and/ or wires
• Ability to lift 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, comfortable working in an outdoor environment.
• Basic computer skills - checking emails, working with Excel

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience pulling cable preferred but not required

COMPENSATION:

25/hr to 28/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
