What are the responsibilities and job description for the Formulation Chemist position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is currently hiring a Formulation Chemist to join a large client in Omaha, NE. This individual will be onsite in the lab 5 days a week. The overall responsibility of the Chemist will be to develop new liquid, powder or solid beauty products and duplicative competitive products to meet or exceed customer/company expectations. They will be working with all production based and operations teams. They will be meeting with suppliers and technical experts for product information, collecting the newest developments, and formulating appropriate applications. They are open to candidates who are more junior but also to candidates who are senior level!
This position will be a 6 month contract-to-hire role and could lead to several growth opportunities once converted to a permanent employee!
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other physical science.
- 2 or more years of hands on formulation experience in a lab, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing lab.
- Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, testing instrumentation, experimental design
Salary : $29 - $55
