What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Insight Global?
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, Trade school, or associate's degree
- Some type of experience or interest related to engineering or field work: Telecom, power distribution, fielding, transportation, roadways, building installations, construction, etc.
- Valid Drivers License- Ability to drive a vehicle to site locations
- Coachable eager to learn and pick up on new skills
- Passion or interest in engineering/utilities
Plusses:
- Distribution/Telecom/Utilities Experience
Day-to-Day:
This person will be supporting projects relating to distribution design for their end clients within the utilities industry. These projects will include engineering initiatives for joint use/ Market ready where they will be collecting data, measurements, and information on poles for power distribution and telecommunication. He/she will be responsible for collecting data on power poles such as attachment heights, power communication details, and midspan information where they will upload and download the data into the computer system.
