Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or related field or comparable experience level and industry certificates.
- Ten years of progressive leadership experience with managing operations and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure in CMS accredited medical facilities
- Delivery of operations and maintenance services in a unionized team environment.
- Ability to negotiate and manage service and construction contracts
- Demonstrated leadership and planning skills including strategic thinking and influencing outcomes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including extemporaneous and prepared speaking in front of groups
- Ability to understand technical concepts relating to building systems and infrastructure
- Ability to prepare and administer budgets and develop reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, master's in business administration.
- Operations and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure in both new and aging facilities, particularly in large (>500 bed) accredited medical facilities.
- Experience with planning and directing a preventive maintenance program.
- Life cycle costing analysis of infrastructure systems, including capital planning and deferred maintenance programs.
- Direct project management responsibility in healthcare setting with projects over $100k.
- Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager or similar certifications
Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Healthcare Facilities Operations Manager for a healthcare client located in Portland, OR. This resource would report directly to the Healthcare Facilities Director and would be responsible for facilities maintenance and operations for hospitals and clinics by providing safe, compliant, reliable and inviting facilities. In this role, you would directly manage front line supervisors that support operations and maintenance of inpatient adult and pediatric hospitals, surgical centers, medical offices, and outpatient clinics, while maintaining strategic relations with contracted vendors, design and construction teams, and clinical leadership.
Salary : $138,000 - $168,000
