Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel’s operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, managing staff, and driving financial performance. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and address any guest concerns or complaints promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy rates and revenue.
- Manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts to ensure profitability.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel and attract new business. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local businesses.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in hotel management and operations
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to work on site in Pittsburgh five days per week
Compensation:
$60,000/year
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
