Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Specialist to join our team at a large hospital center in Washington, DC. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for scans, and administering contrast media according to established protocols.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning them on the scan table.
- Administer contrast media according to established protocols and consult with Radiologists as necessary.
- Enter patient and exam data into x-ray computer systems and perform computed scan images.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and exams performed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
