Job Title: Industrial Electrical Engineer
Location: Cheshire, CT - 5 days a week
Duration: Permanent
Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 annually
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our Advanced Technologies Services team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, produce, and maintain electrical and controls sub-systems throughout the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and development of electrical sub-systems using CAD software to create schematics, wiring layouts, and BOMs for electrical panels.
• Defining safe power consumption budgets and conductor sizing per NEC standards.
• Creation of test plans to ensure highest quality and safety for electrical panels and systems.
• Documentation of systems (part, assembly, BOMs) adhering to best practices for revision control.
• Maintenance and upgrades of systems installed in the field and documenting revision changes.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineers and technologists to ensure delivery of proof of concept, prototype, and production systems.
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in product development technical roles within US or global companies developing, manufacturing, and supporting industrial electrical and control systems.
• Experience with Engineering Software's (AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical).
• Hands-on experience with reliability and environmental testing, keeping up with industry standards.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Standards & Codes (NEC, UL, FCC).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional Engineer License.
• Understanding of International, specifically Canadian, electrical codes.
• Experience with robotics.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
