WHAT YOU’LL DO
Comply with NEC, GES, and all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within branch circuit wiring, motors, FA systems / devices, VFDs, and emergency electrical equipment such as transfer switches and generators.
Use metering tools to test various pieces of electrical equipment.
Completes assigned work orders and perform emergency or preventative maintenance while meeting deadlines.
Responds quickly to emergency situations and help members on your team if additional assistance as needed.
Operates company vehicle in a safe manner and follows prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
Use tablet for work order system, email, and training.
Ability to follow specific procedures and company policies or recognize when they are not being followed.
Responsible for meeting project deadlines. Teamwork required.
Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques / procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred. Electrical Journeyman license preferred. Valid Driver's license required.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders, and the ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills : add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages discounts and commissions.
