Job Summary :
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer with a strong background in data modeling, Oracle databases, and Linux scripting (nice to have) to join our team at a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Informatica, strong communication skills for engaging with users and gathering requirements, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Modeling : Perform extensive data modeling work, collaborating closely with business users to understand requirements and ensure proper data structure for financial applications.
Requirements Gathering & Communication : Work with stakeholders across different teams to gather and validate requirements. Ensure all approvals are secured before proceeding with changes.
Informatica Development : Design, develop, and implement Informatica ETL processes and workflows to meet business requirements. Write and optimize code for high-performance data processing.
Database Management : Leverage Oracle database skills to perform data transformations, querying, and ensure integration with the Informatica platform.
Collaboration & Support : Work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide ongoing support for data models, ETL pipelines, and modifications to business logic.
Banking / Financial Domain Expertise : Provide domain-specific insights to ensure that data processes align with regulatory and operational needs in the banking and financial industry.

Skills and Requirements
Skills and Qualifications :
Informatica PowerCenter : 5 years of experience in developing, testing, and deploying ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
Oracle Database : Solid experience with Oracle databases, including writing complex SQL queries, optimizing performance, and integrating with Informatica.
Linux Scripting (Nice to Know) : Familiarity with basic Linux shell scripting and automation.
Strong Communication Skills : Ability to engage with business users, gather requirements, and seek approvals. Work effectively in a team environment and across departments.
Banking / Financial Services Knowledge : Prior experience working in a banking or financial institution, understanding regulatory and compliance requirements.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability : Ability to work with changing requirements, revise data models, and implement improvements as needed. null
