An enterprise level client is looking for a Information Security Cloud Architect specializing in Application Security. This role involves designing and implementing secure cloud architectures with a focus on application security principles. The architect will collaborate closely with development teams, infrastructure architects, and security professionals to ensure cloud-based applications are resilient against cybersecurity threats and compliant with industry standards.
This is a hybrid opportunity reporting 2 days onsite in Orange County, CA.
Must-Haves:
- 10 years in cloud architecture and application security.
- Mature DevSecOps practices in application security architecture frameworks by incorporating shift-left initiatives, integrating SAST and DAST into CI/CD pipelines for early detection of vulnerabilities.
- Experience conducting security assessments and reviews of applications deployed in cloud environments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, and security services.
- Certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty) preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Expertise in Python, JavaScript.
Salary : $170,000 - $190,000
