Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving escalated support tickets and providing exceptional technical support to our client's large utility provider in Evansville, IN. This role requires onsite work at the client's downtown office.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide support for end-user devices, including laptops and desktops.
- Assist with imaging PCs and setting up new devices.
- Troubleshoot and support various internal software applications.
- Refresh and replace old devices and hardware as needed.
- Support the upgrade process from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a helpdesk or IT support role, with a focus on Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 support.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus.
Compensation: $22/hour to $27/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
