IT Solution Architect (REMOTE - EST/CST)

A large retail & commercial bank is looking for an IT Solutions Architect to join their Commercial Banking and Channels Architecture team supporting Commercial Banking Architecture projects. The role is responsible for solutioning overall functional / technological designs for various projects. As a background, the bank has close to $90B in assets, 9K employees and more than 2M customers along the east coast in the US. In addition to providing excellent banking experiences for their customers, the bank also very involved in the community through charitable giving and philanthropy to give back to low / moderate income and underserved communities. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for macro designs, technical designs, and functional diagrams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and PM skills to proactively follow up with respective business units, technical teams etc to gather information needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the implementation of a solutions architecture the Commercian Banking projects based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements.
• Provide consulting support to IT teams ensuring project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture solution.
• Analyze system requirements and ensure that systems will be securely integrated with current applications.
• Provide technical guidance to developers and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with established architecture, design patterns, policies, standards and best practices.
• Identify and address any risks associated with the overall architecture
• Work closely with project management teams to drive project forward

Compensation : 70 / hr to $76 / hr.
